This listing is for an ORIGINAL, UNFRAMED ARTWORK in my 2020 Four Seasons Meadows series, and features all real pressed flowers and plants. This listing is for the Spring meadow, which measures 11x14". The plants and flowers, many of which I grew in my own garden, were pressed by hand through a natural, chemical- and dye-free process and mounted to the paper using nontoxic adhesive. The paper itself is a sturdy, 140lb acid free, cold press watercolor paper.
Featured in this spring meadow are the birth month flowers for the spring months: March (daffodil, two types), April (daisy), and May (lily of the valley). In addition, the meadow includes Christmas fern and fiddleheads, muscari, pansies, iris, buttercup and alyssum.
This artwork would look beautiful displayed on its own or in conjunction with other four seasons pieces or botanical artworks. Bring the outside in and enjoy spring all year round!
Please note that colors may differ slightly based on monitor settings.
Your art piece will ship inside a cellophane sleeve with rigid backing board in a rigid mailer. The artwork will be signed by the artist in the corner.
These Four Seasons meadow designs have been made into limited edition prints, which are also available in my shop.

Every item in the shop features real plant material. The ferns, leaves, and flowers will retain their distinct shape and detail for as long as the piece is cared for (protected from moisture and bending). Depending on the plant or flower, varying degrees of color shift/fading will naturally occur over time. While this transition is beautiful and is inherent in the organic nature of my work , if you would like to delay it, take care to keep your item(s) from direct sunlight. High exposure to UV light will hasten the fading or browning of flowers and leaves.
Ideally, you would display your wall hanging away from direct or strong sunlight, not directly in or in front of a window. If you choose to display it in this way, understand that natural fading will be greatly accelerated. Your plants and flowers will maintain their beautiful and unique shape, but color will quickly fade.
In most cases, yes! I am able to receive fresh wedding bouquets and preserve the flowers to create a keepsake from your special day. There are several product options available; please contact me in advance of your wedding to discuss details, options, and to secure your date (availability is limited). At this time, I am unable to work with previously dried (but not pressed) bouquets, as they are extremely brittle and will not work with my process.
No; at this time, my work is available primarily through my own retail Etsy shop.
